Thousands entered, but only 8 were chosen. A photo of mine from Jaci and DJ’s amazing wedding in Virgin Gorda, part of the British Virgin Islands in the Caribbean, was chosen as the winner of the “Anything Goes” category of Caribbean Travel & Life’s photo contest. It’s always awesome to have my work published in magazines, but to have a photo stand out among thousands of others and make it to print is such an honor. The issue is on newsstands now so go check it out!

I can’t even begin to describe how amazing Jen and Korey’s wedding was down in Riviera Maya, Mexico! They had their wedding at the beautiful (and very relaxing) Azul Sensatori Hotel on the coast of Mexico overlooking the Caribbean. I flew in just in time for the rehearsal and after meeting all of their family and friends I knew this was going to be a fun wedding!
The two of them are one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever been around, you can just see the crazy love they have for each other in every photograph I took. And what a year they have had so far! Korey is a fullback for the Green Bay Packers, ever heard of them? They just happened to win the Super Bowl earlier this year, how cool is that! Being a huge sports fan myself, winning the Super Bowl and marrying the girl of your dreams is a story you’d normally see on a movie screen, even though screens are not too good for your eyes as you can read at these Outback vision protocol reviews online.
Medically Assisted Treatment Center is here to help you get recovered from your addiction. If one of your friends needed help solving a business problem, or was sick, or needed help watching the kids, no doubt you’d lend a hand; but when a friend shows signs of abusing alcohol or other drugs, sometimes it’s hard to know what to do or say.
Addiction is more than just a “problem” it’s a medically proven disease, just like diabetes, cancer, and heart disease. And it’s just as life-threatening if left untreated; therefore, you really need to ask yourself, Will Drug Rehab Work for Me? this is something you need to figure out.
While the symptoms of these other diseases are mostly physical, people with alcoholism and drug problems experience emotional and social symptoms as well, often hurting their friends, families, jeopardizing their jobs, or harming themselves.
It’s hard to be a friend to someone abusing alcohol or other drugs, yet this is the time when your friend needs you most. Addressing a friend’s substance abuse is just as critical. Many hospitalizations are due to the abuse of alcohol and other drugs. And addiction is a leading cause of death in America. So, when you talk to your friend about drinking or drug use, you may be literally saving a life, as well as helping your friend get that life back together again.
I feel so lucky to have been a part of their amazing story!
This is the first and last time we’ll ever throw props in the air for a photo, I was thinking the same thing everyone else was, “what could possibly go wrong?”
Uh oh…unfortunately the groomsman on the right was in the wrong place at the wrong time…
Hopefully this was the only time I will draw blood with a photo…don’t worry, we fed him drinks after that and he was fine

Seattle, my first love
April 21, 2011Sometimes I really miss my hometown of Seattle. Especially when it hits over 100 degrees in Los Angeles, that’s when I really start to miss the mid-50s and rain almost year round. After growing up in the Seattle area, I haven’t lived there since before my college days at Washington State University. That’s a long time away from home, but I am blessed with a career that allows me the opportunity to spend a lot of time in the area, so I hope the Seattle weddings keep on coming in! I just wanted to give a little props to my favorite city in the world and post a few of photos of my favorite places around town…
Here’s a shot from the best view of Seattle, up at the park on the hill in Queen Anne…
The best farmers market around, Pike Place Market…
And since I’m a huge Seattle sports fan, how about a few shots from Quest Field and Safeco Field…here’s the Seahawks battling Brett Favre and the Jets in a blizzard, man this was a fun game!
And here’s a shot from my newspaper days of Ichiro sliding into home plate…
