A few days before I left for my trip to New Zealand, I was in Seattle for Ellen and Jamie’s wedding, my first one of the new year. Ellen is another good friend from my college days and I was excited to get back to my hometown for the wedding. We were blessed with a beautiful non-rainy winter day in Seattle, which is very rare! We took advantage and went all over downtown for photos, we even got booted from the library.
It was such a fun group and I was happy to be a part of their big day…
What an amazing way to start off the year!

Nothing like cruising around downtown Seattle in a big yellow school bus…

I love shooting at the Pike Place Market, and when you take a group this big into the market, you’re bound to draw some attention. This tourist was filming me take pictures, so I just had to grab a photo of him…

After the market, we headed over to the Seattle Public Library, which is known for its amazing architecture. It also started to get a bit windy…

Love the socks…

This guy did the best AC/DC impression I’ve ever seen, it was spot on…

Here’s something you don’t see at every wedding, the groom taking a keg stand…

Here’s a photographer that really loves his job ![]()
